| AGREEMENT |
| Thank you for choosing Containers by Reaves for your waste disposal needs. Please read, sign, and return this container agreement as soon possible. It can be faxed to (334) 297-2160, or mailed to the above address.
It is our desire to provide you with the best service possible. With that in mind, here are a few things you should know about your container service agreement: |
| • Your service agreement is for an indefinite period of time. We will consider the agreement active until you notify us that you are finished with the container and we have performed the final dump and remove. |
| • All charges will be billed to your account individually. The delivery, final dump and remove, and any interim swap-outs will incur a charge. Additionally, daily rent will be charged for each day that the container is on site. |
| • Although we are generally able to provide a rapid turnaround time, we ask that you allow at least 6 hours between the time you call for service and the time the service is needed. |
| You will receive a statement shortly after the 20th of the month; this statement will list all of the items that have been charged to your account. Payment is due by the 10th of the following month. If your account becomes more than 60 days past due, a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% per year) will apply to all outstanding charges. Additionally, a credit hold will be placed on your account, and no further services will be performed until the past due charges are paid. |
| We accept check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or AmEx) for payment of account charges. Credit card customers can also elect to have their balance due automatically charged to their card on the 20th. |
| Here are some guidelines for use of your container: |
| •Do not overfill the container! The following conditions constitute an overfilled container: |
|
o Any debris that is higher than the sides of the container. |
|
o Any dirt or concrete in a 12-yard container or a 40-yard container; dirt and concrete cannot be placed in those size containers. |
|
o Any dirt or concrete which fills a 20-yard container more than ¾ full. |
|
o Any dirt or concrete which fills a 30-yard container more than ½ full. |
|
o If we are called to service a container and cannot service it because it is blocked
or overloaded, your account will be charged a fee for the unsuccessful attempt.
The container will not be serviced until it meets the proper guidelines. |
|
- The container is heavy, and can cause indentations on the surface on which it is placed. New asphalt is particularly subject to this problem; please keep this in mind when choosing where to place the container. We will not be liable for incidental damage to asphalt, grass, etc. damaged by the weight of the container or its placement.
|
- The following types of hazardous materials cannot be placed in the container:
|
- Household garbage
- Materials that contain asbestos
- Freon or any appliances that contain Freon (refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.)
- Fluorescent bulbs (either whole or broken) or ballasts
- Railroad ties, tires, or batteries
- Mercury or anything containing mercury (particularly thermostats)
- Liquids
- Any sort of electronics (computers, monitors, copiers, printers, televisions, microwave ovens, etc.)
|
| If you have any questions, feel free to call us and ask. Thanks again for your business! |
